Guided Fishing Experiences

My mom calls me Jonathan, but around town I am known as Jay Gee. I am a native Texan who has spent my entire life fishing the rivers, streams and salt flats of Texas before settling in San Marcos.

San Marcos is home to the beautiful San Marcos River. The origin of this 75 mile long river is the San Marco Spring which ensures the river stays a consistent temperature all year long. This is one of the few places that you can catch a fish on top water in the middle of the winter!

This river is home to a number of awesome species including the Guadalupe Bass and the Rio Grande Cichlid and the other primary fish species. It will keep you busy all day long.

    Had an amazing day with Ashley! He was extremely knowledgeable about fishing the Mississippi for smallmouth bass. I personally had over 10 fish to hand this day under his guidance. Besides the excellent fishing, Ashley whipped up some incredible fajitas for lunch. A hot lunch on the water is always such a treat. I highly recommend Ashley for your next fishing trip on the Mississippi.
