We launch from the south side of San Marcos. This trip is the most challenging section. Full of low hanging trees and log jams mixed with small gin clear water, this will put your casting and fishing technique to the test! Don't be fooled this is one of the best sections to chase good sized smallmouth and Guadalupe bass!

All necessary gear is provided, making it a hassle-free adventure. However we recommend this trip for physically fit advanced anglers due to a tough portage.
