slightly stained but good fishing

Last week we fished the upper and lower sections. Both are stained but visibility isn’t bad. Fish were tight to structure, but as the day went on we had some fish move up really shallow. With that being said we found the most fish in those deeper eddie’s with good current next to it. As usual chartreuse and white did well along with black and olive. Baitfish patterns 4”-6” long held it down most of the days. Guads and largemouth were the primary targets but we did see a lot of tailing carp the past few weeks. Big gar are out and about. They really love this heat so if you want the bigs ones now is the time!
